Job summary

Sun Chemical seeks an experienced technical ink support specialist to provide dedicated ink expertise for customers across West Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri. You will identify and address technical and continuous improvement needs, ensuring seamless delivery of products and services.

The role requires 5–10 years in the ink industry, familiarity with Kepner-Tregoe, Six Sigma, SunMatch, and hands-on lab/press equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of ink industry experience.
• Experience with Kepner Tregoe, Six Sigma, SunMatch.
• Industry laboratory and press equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• High level of pressroom and printing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives with customers and Sun employees.
• Make product selection decisions in accordance with Product Management and conduct trial activities.
• Provide training needs to customer employees on ink blending, inventory, work off, and related functions.
• Report field activity in Salesforce; complete trial and call reports as needed.
• Submit and follow up regional color match lab requests.
• Provide emergency backfill support for products when needed.
