Job summary

OPmobility is seeking an Injection and Tooling Engineer in Rossford, Ohio, to drive tool concept validation and coordinate with toolmakers. You will validate injection tooling concepts, propose improvements to hit quality, cost and lead time targets, and act as the main technical contact throughout projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in plastics or injection tools design, 3–5 years of related experience, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent in plastics or injection tools design.
Excellent command of English for international collaboration.
3–5 years of significant experience in injection & tooling field.

Responsibilities

Participate in injection tool concept validation.
Propose technical improvements to meet Quality, Cost, Lead time targets.
Act as main technical contact with toolmakers during projects.
Daily use of department databases (TCRD, FAC, Action plan, trial evaluation).
Organize and lead the Trial Preparation Meeting and oversee Injection Tools trials.
Lead trials and manage actions to achieve injection trial targets per the Trial Preparation Meeting, following safety rules.
Participate in wash-up meetings after trials and tuning to analyze results with the core team.
Update the FAC action plan and share information with toolmakers.
Oversee factory tool transfer stage and ensure injection process reliability with factory specs.
