Job summary

OPmobility in the United States seeks an Injection and Tooling Engineer to contribute to tool concept validation and to propose improvements in quality, cost, and lead time. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in plastics or injection tools design.
• Good command of English.
• 3–5 years of significant experience in Injection & tooling.
• Able to understand rheology studies.
• Advanced competencies in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and design software.

Responsibilities

• Participates in injection tool concept validation.
• Proposes technical improvements to QA, cost, and lead time.
• Acts as main technical contact with toolmakers during projects.
• Uses department databases daily (TCRD, FAC, Action plan, trial evaluation).
• Organizes and leads Trial Preparation Meetings; responsible for injection tools trials.
• Participates in trials and manages actions to meet trial targets per plan, per safety rules.
• Participates in wash-up meetings after trials and tuning loop; analyzes results with core team.
• Updates the FAC action plan and shares information with toolmakers.
• Responsible for factory tool transfer stage, injection process reliability vs factory specs.
