Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to manage mold sampling and qualification services for new and rebuilt tools. You will work with plant technical teams to support startups, validate processes, and drive improvements in tooling and process control.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least 5 years of plastics processing experience. Strong communication, project leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal/external customers.
• Strong management and people skills to influence multiple resources.

Responsibilities

• Mold samplings and qualification services for new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to achieve dimensional limits within specified cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding.
• Attend design reviews and tool specification meetings.
• Train plant personnel in technical areas and tooling changes.
• Provide manufacturing support to resolve machine/process/tooling issues.
• Lead DOE and process capability studies to ensure standards compliance.
