Job summary

The Amcor Process Engineer will oversee injection stretch blow molding sampling and validation for new products and tooling upgrades, working with plant technical teams to support startups and corrective actions.

Responsibilities include optimizing molding processes, developing Master Process Sheets, training plant staff, and partnering with quality teams to improve process capability across facilities. Expect 50%–75% travel and a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience) required or preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with customers.
• Strong management, communication and people skills to lead resources across teams.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of mold sampling, qualification, and tooling for new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits at target cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding processes.
• Attend project design reviews and tool specification meetings as required.
• Train plant personnel in machine processing, tool design changes and process control.
