Job summary

Minth North America, Inc. is seeking an Injection Molding Engineer to lead all aspects of Injection Moulding technology. This role serves as the gatekeeper of Best Practices for Injection Moulding, bridging engineering development with successful plant implementation.

You will coordinate quote sign-offs, feasibility, sourcing, tool design, and process validation across plants, driving improvements and ensuring production readiness and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Quote Phase sign-off: review critical quote packages and interface with plant engineers to ensure best practices.
• Tool, Equipment and Process Feasibility: manage manufactured part feasibility with the appropriate plant engineering.
• Tool and Equipment Sourcing: work with purchasing to define domestic or LCC tool shop with low-cost, high-value sourcing.
• Tool and Equipment Design: ensure tool and equipment design aligns with part input; design RJG sensor strategy for all molds.
• Tool and Equipment Tracking: coordinate with program manager, tooling engineer, and plant engineer for tool build.
• Prove-out at supplier or Minth facilities: coordinate and attend tool prove-out with plant engineering.
• Part dimensional analysis and reconciliation: manage dimensional reconciliation via Master Mold setup, DOE, and confirmation runs.
• Tool Prove-out and Hand-off to Production Site: schedule final tool prove-out/sign-off at Minth Assembly plant.
• Best Practice feedback: own PFMEA; update PFMEA/DFMEA in global network; lead new PFMEAs.
• Training: train plant personnel on Master setup, DOEs, RJG systems procedures.
• Ensure all processing/mechanical systems meet Minth Best Practice standards; conduct necessary training.
• Assist in quote phase if required, capital investment, source selection, and facility layout.
