Applied Medical is seeking an Injection Molding Process Engineer to maintain the molding processes behind our plastic medical device components, from mold qualification through full scale production. The role combines hands-on machine operation, scientific molding, and DOE to build processes that perform under high production volume.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in plastics or related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years in injection molding or plastics manufacturing.
• Hands-on molding machine operation from start-up to shutdown.
• Troubleshoot quality and production issues with molding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and sustains injection molding processes for thermoplastic components.
• Operates robots, mold setups, and EOAT tooling.
• Leads root cause investigations and implements corrective actions.
• Performs IQ/OQ/PQ validations and supports new product introductions.
