Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Injection Mold Maintenance Technician for our facility in Buffalo Grove, IL. This contract-to-hire role focuses on maintaining and repairing injection molding machines in a clean, climate-controlled environment, with 12-hour day/night rotations and a 10% shift premium.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support machine startups, changeovers, and production operations as part of a high-tech

Qualifications

• Injection molding maintenance experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Respond to machine alarms and identify root causes of failures.
• Repair and maintain robotic and automated manufacturing systems.
• Perform TPM activities and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Repair and maintain assembly, packaging, and auxiliary equipment.
• Upload and restore machine programs as needed.
• Document maintenance activities and complete work orders.
• Support machine startups, changeovers, and production operations.
• Follow GMP, safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
