Silgan is seeking aMaintenance Technician to support the shift production team in maintaining injection and compression molding equipment. The role requires strong mechanical skills to diagnose and repair engines and related systems, with responsibilities including jam clearance, line restart, and minor repairs to ensure continuous operation.

The position offers a starting pay of $20 to $30 per hour, paid bi-weekly, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability and life

Formación

• Strong mechanical abilities with experience diagnosing and repairing engines and machinery.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain injection and compression molding machines for production shifts.
• Clear jams, restart lines, and perform minor repairs and adjustments to keep lines running.
• Diagnose mechanical and quality problems and restore equipment to service with minimal delay.
• Monitor materials and minimize scrap and downtime during shifts.
