Job summary

Amerita is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in infusion to provide one-on-one patient care in home settings in the Denver area. The role includes performing infusion therapy, managing vascular access, and coordinating with the care team.

This full-time position requires a valid RN license, BSN preferred, and at least 1 year of RN experience. Travel is 100%, visiting patients at home in various CO locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to policies addressing infusion nursing, pharmacy services and state laws.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering provider and patient to develop and monitor goals.
• Completes patient care documentation in home or AIS.
• Manages vascular access devices and labs via venipuncture.
• Educates patients and caregivers; evaluates progress toward goals.
• Coordinates nursing care with home health and other agencies; participates in on-call rotation.
• Complete expense reports monthly and annual competencies.
