Job summary

Amerita Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse to provide in-home infusion nursing care for specialty patients. The role covers administering IV therapies, educating patients, and coordinating care in a home setting.

Position requires RN licensure and 1+ year of experience, with infusion/home health preferred and CPR certification. Weekend shifts and 40 hours/week with 8–10 hour options are available in Denver.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s).
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and implement the Plan of Care.
• Follow infusion nursing and pharmacy scope of services and state regulations.
• Adhere to INS IgNS and ANA ethics and guidelines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, sales partners, providers and patients to monitor therapies.
• Document patient care in the home setting or AIS.
• Manage vascular access devices and perform peripheral venipuncture as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers; adjust care as needed; coordinate with other agencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation; file monthly mileage and expense reports.
• Complete annual competencies and mandatory trainings.
