Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to organizational policies. The role includes evaluating the company's financial status and communicating with owners on performance and clinical implementation of therapies.

The position requires a B.S. or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy, strong communication skills, and solid business acumen.

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S. or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong interpersonal skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills.
• Solid business and financial understanding of operating a profitable pharmacy.
• Experience with management of pharmacy support personnel (preferred).
• Experience with infusion therapy and sterile compounding (preferred).
• Sterile compounding training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies and procedures.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Management and staff.
• Interviewing, orienting, and evaluating employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on the provision of healthcare by professionals.
• Implements and upholds company policies, procedures, and protocols for service to consumers.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve the quality of care.
• Maintains knowledge of USP chapter <797> for sterile compounding quality and sterility.
• Responsible for performance improvement processes and assigns staff to related activities.
• Reviews charts and lab results for product/device selection and supply management.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness and safety.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to physicians and healthcare teams.
• Supervises the entire pharmacy and staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Participates in training and onboarding of new employees and performance improvement programs.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
