Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an "Infusion Guide"—to raise the bar in infusion therapy care. This full-time, onsite role in McKinney, TX features M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm hours and a starting salary of $25/hour plus quarterly bonuses.

The ideal candidate has experience reading medical charts and insurance pre-authorizations. You will coordinate referrals, communicate with patients and providers, manage inventory, and participate in a structured training plan to ensure

Qualifications

• Health Care Experience required.
• Prior Authorization experience preferred.
• Infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process and authorizations.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain necessary documentation and communicate patient status.
• Explain referral process and status to patients in a customer-friendly way.
• Coordinate communication with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Participate in a dedicated 6-week training plan.
