Job summary

Always Compassionate Health seeks an Infusion Homecare Nurse (RN) to conduct on-site patient visits, initiate care, and provide follow-up as needed. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with the infusion team, and educating patients on IV therapies in home settings.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS RN license, has infusion experience, and is comfortable with documentation and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Infusion experience is REQUIRED. MUST have experience infusing IV/SQIG and biologic medications.
• Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and standard nursing policies.
• Ability to read and interpret physicians' orders and treatment plans.
• Experience working in home care infusion settings is valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient visits to initiate patient care and follow-ups.
• Precept and evaluate the skills of newly hired nurses as requested.
• Collaborate with infusion intake team to ensure seamless initiation of infusion care.
• Educate patients and families on therapy administration via IV.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and patient safety.
