Job summary

Always Compassionate Health is seeking a skilled Home Infusion Field Nurse (RN) to perform patient visits, initiate infusion care, and provide follow-up. You will collaborate with the infusion intake team to ensure seamless start-up of care in patients’ homes.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of RN experience in home infusion or related settings, with strong knowledge of IV therapy and patient education. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of full-time RN experience in home infusion, hospital, or clinic.
• Infusion experience is REQUIRED; IV/SQIG and biologics familiarization preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in patients' homes.
• Perform PIV, PICC, and Central line care as applicable.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapies and safety procedures.
• Prepare and administer infusion therapy, monitor for adverse effects, and document findings.
• Communicate with patients, families, infusion pharmacy, and providers to coordinate care.
• Conduct on-site field visits and, when requested, supervise nursing staff.
