Job summary

Local Infusion in Westchester/Sharonville, OH, is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator (Infusion Guide). The role focuses on referrals, authorizations, financial counseling, and liaising with providers to ensure patients receive the best infusion care.

The position offers predictable hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm) with a starting salary of $25/hr plus quarterly bonuses and full benefits. Prior authorization experience and medical terminology knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Health care experience is required.
• Experience with insurance pre-authorizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate status.
• Explain referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Communicate openly with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Complete a dedicated 6-week training plan to ensure success.
