Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—to enhance referral and intake coordination with top-tier patient and physician service. The role is onsite at our Westchester/Sharonville, OH center, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a starting salary of $25/hr plus quarterly bonuses.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, prior authorization know-how, and familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience.
• Medical terminology experience.
• Overall medical insurance familiarity.
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process: authorizations, financial counseling, benefits.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and update status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients clearly.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers transparently.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Six-week training plan to ensure success.
