Job summary

Local Infusion in Montgomeryville, PA is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator (Infusion Guide) to simplify referrals, obtain authorizations, and support patients and providers with outstanding service. The role is onsite, full-time, Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm, with an starting wage of $25/hour plus quarterly bonuses and full benefits.

Previous insurance pre-authorization and EHR experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Infusion experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance prior authorizations.
• Medical terminology proficiency.
• Overall health insurance knowledge.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process including authorizations and financial counseling.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate patient status.
• Communicate referral status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Complete a dedicated 6-week training plan.
