Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—who is passionate about improving infusion care. This full-time, on-site role is based in Montgomeryville, PA with a Mon-Fri schedule, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Salary starts at $25/hr plus a quarterly bonus and full benefits. You will manage referrals, authorizations, financial counseling, and benefit investigation, while liaising with providers and guiding patients through the process.

Qualifications

• Health Care Experience Required
• Prior Infusion experience preferred
• Insurance Prior Authorization experience
• Medical Terminology experience
• Overall medical insurance experience
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps
• Experience and familiarity with EHR systems

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process; obtain authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate patient status
• Communicate referral process and status to patients clearly
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6-week training plan to help you succeed
