Local Infusion in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—to join our on-site team. The role focuses on end-to-end referral and intake coordination with strong emphasis on patient and physician service. You will ensure accurate authorizations and smooth insurance workflows. The position is full-time, onsite at our St.

Pete center, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Salary starts at $25/hr with a quarterly bonus and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience.
• Medical terminology experience.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation necessary for treatment, and communicate status of their patients
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed in your role
