Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment, required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Office experience, preferred.
• 1 year working with insurance authorizations, benefits verifications, and billing, preferred.
• Active CPR/BLS prior to starting work, required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manages all front-end operations of the infusion center, including answering calls, greeting patients, maintaining a clean environment, processing payments, and handling deliveries.
• Review patient cancellations and reschedule treatments; communicate changes to Clinical Operations Manager and nursing staff; reminder calls for appointments.
• Assist with payments, connect with Clinic Manager to authorize payment, and route to Accounts Payable.
• Schedule patients for follow-up infusions, coordinating with Patient Care Navigator team.
• Maintain records in HIPAA-compliant systems and collaborate with referring providers to obtain medical records.
