Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for the KOP Infusion Center at Moores Cancer Center. The role involves supervising infusion services, coordinating nursing care, and ensuring compliance with professional standards in a fast-paced environment.

Under the Associate Director of Nursing, you will oversee staff, plan and monitor care, and collaborate with physicians to deliver excellent patient outcomes. The position follows a 5/8 schedule, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• BSN required for nursing leadership.
• California RN license required.
• BART or BLS required with plan to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
• At least 1 year in charge/supervisory role in Ambulatory Oncology.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy provider card or obtain within 6 months.
• Strong HR policy knowledge and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a broad range of infusion functions at the KOP Infusion Center.
• Plan and perform direct and indirect nursing interventions.
• Organize, plan, assess and monitor nursing services.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing leadership to ensure high-quality care.
• Monitor day-to-day operations and drive administrative efficiencies.
