Job summary
UC San Diego Health is seeking an experienced RN/NP to provide infusion therapy, including chemotherapy and biotherapy, in a fast-paced outpatient center across North County (Encinitas, Vista, Rancho Bernardo).
Responsibilities include blood work, dressing changes, injections, and rapid response to emergencies. Must hold California RN license, BART/BLS on hire, and ONS chemotherapy certification with oncology infusion experience.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current California RN license.
- BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months.
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification with recent experience.
- Minimum one year of oncology infusion center or acute care oncology experience.
- Proven independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide chemotherapy, biotherapy, and infusion services.
- Perform blood work, dressing changes, injections.
- Respond to medical emergencies in a timely manner.
- Maintain autonomy within interdisciplinary care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
