BJC is hiring for an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer - Telecom. This is a remote position (must be in MO or IL). Candidates should have experience with Five9 or similar cloud contact center solutions, Avaya knowledge, and experience working in a healthcare contact center environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and ensure the reliable operation of all voice telecommunications systems.
• Administer support systems such as call accounting, traffic analysis, voice processing, LANs, WANs, channel service units, and multiplexers.

Role Purpose

The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer (ISE) is responsible for designing and deploying technical configuration items from the approved technology portfolio to support business solutions. The ISE collaborates with Solution Architects and Technical Operations to manage technical debt and minimize risks from legacy platforms.

Responsibilities

1. Design system components following architecture standards and methodology.
2. Create detailed design specifications for system construction and review designs for quality and compliance.
3. Design specific network components according to standards and methodologies.
4. Translate logical designs into physical designs optimized for capacity and performance.
5. Contribute to recovery routines and contingency procedures, and explore alternative network architectures.
6. Participate in after-hours on-call rotations if required.
