Additional Information About the Role

BJC is hiring for an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer - Telecom. This is a remote position (must be in MO or IL). Candidates should have experience with Five9 or similar cloud contact center solutions, Avaya knowledge, and experience in a healthcare contact center environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and ensure reliable operation of all voice telecommunications systems.
• Manage support systems such as call accounting, traffic analysis, voice processing, LAN/WAN, channel service units, and multiplexers.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose: The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer (ISE) is responsible for designing and deploying technical configuration items to support business solutions. The ISE also manages technical debt and collaborates with Solution Architects and Technical Operations to mitigate risks from legacy platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design system components following architecture standards, patterns, and methodologies.
• Create detailed design specifications for system construction and review designs for compliance and improvement.
• Design network components adhering to architectural standards.
• Translate logical designs into physical designs optimized for capacity and performance.
• Develop recovery routines and contingency procedures, and contribute to network architecture options.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations if required.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 2-5 years

Preferred Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 5-10 years
