Job Description
AireSpring seeks a high-impact, senior-level Sales Solutions Engineer to join our team. This critical, high-visibility role involves shaping revenue strategies for services like SD-WAN, UCaaS, CCaaS, Security, and Cloud Connectivity. You will be the technical backbone of the sales team, architecting solutions, building proposals, and translating needs into implementations.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the key technical advisor to Account Executives and Channel Partners, managing the technical sales cycle from discovery to implementation.
  • Develop custom network and cloud solutions for diverse customer environments.
  • Engage with customers and partners through deep-dives, requirements gathering, and whiteboarding.
  • Create sales collateral including diagrams, solution documents, and presentations.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, lead demos, and support trials.
  • Deliver webinars, trainings, and sales enablement content with Marketing and Product teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to enhance offerings.
  • Support post-sales handoff with documentation and onboarding.
  • Represent AireSpring at industry events and trade shows.

Qualifications

Must-Have Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architect roles in telecom, managed services, or SaaS/SD-WAN.
  • Strong relationships with key Technology Solutions Distributors (TSDs) such as Telarus, AVANT, Intelisys, Sandler, TBI, etc.
  • Experience designing and supporting solutions with:
    • SD-WAN: VMware/VeloCloud, Fortinet, etc.
    • Firewalls: Fortinet, VPN, AAA
    • CPE: Cisco, Adtran, Juniper
    • WAN & last mile: Fiber, Copper, LTE, Satellite
    • Routing & Switching: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP
    • SIP Trunking, UCaaS & Hosted PBX, Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • CCaaS, Legacy PSTN, IPsec VPN setup and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong presenter with excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Expertise in solution documentation, client training, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Ownership mindset with problem-solving and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to work independently remotely while collaborating effectively with dispersed teams.
