AireSpring is seeking a high-impact, senior-level Sales Solutions Engineer to join our team. This pivotal role involves shaping revenue strategies across services like SD-WAN, UCaaS, CCaaS, Security, and Cloud Connectivity, succeeding a highly experienced predecessor. It is ideal for a seasoned technical leader eager to take charge.

This role requires a dynamic professional thriving in a fast-paced, partner-driven sales environment. You will serve as the technical backbone, architecting customer solutions, preparing compelling proposals, and translating technical needs into scalable implementations.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the key technical advisor to Account Executives and Channel Partners, managing the technical aspects of the sales cycle from discovery through implementation.
  • Develop custom network and cloud solutions tailored to diverse customer verticals and environments.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners for technical deep-dives, requirements gathering, and whiteboarding sessions.
  • Create sales collateral such as Visio diagrams, solution documents, and technical presentations.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, lead demos, and support trials to demonstrate technical fit.
  • Deliver webinars, product trainings, and sales enablement content in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to improve offerings based on field feedback.
  • Support post-sales handoff with documentation and onboarding to ensure smooth transition to implementation teams.
  • Represent AireSpring at industry events, trade shows, and partner summits to enhance brand and solution awareness.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture in telecom, managed services, or SaaS/SD-WAN environments.
  • Strong relationships and credibility with key Technology Solutions Distributors (TSDs) such as Telarus, AVANT, Intelisys, and others.
  • Experience designing and supporting solutions using:
    • SD-WAN technologies: VMware/VeloCloud, Fortinet (or equivalent)
    • Firewalls: Fortinet (NAT/PAT, VPN, AAA)
    • CPE: Cisco, Adtran, Juniper
    • WAN & last mile: Fiber, Copper, LTE, Satellite
    • Routing & Switching: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP
    • SIP Trunking: SSCA certification a plus
    • UCaaS & Hosted PBX: Cisco, MetaSwitch, Microsoft Teams
    • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)
    • CCaaS and Hosted Agent Platforms
    • Legacy PSTN, DID, Analog/Fax support
    • IPsec VPN setup and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent presenter with strong communication skills, able to explain technical solutions to both executive and technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in solution documentation, client training, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • High ownership, problem-solving skills, and a consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to work independently remotely while collaborating with dispersed teams.
