Job summary

Webcor seeks a Project Manager to lead day-to-day site and office execution on assigned projects in San Francisco. You will supervise subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to complete work on time and within budget while upholding Webcor’s quality standards.

The role requires advanced knowledge of contract types, cost control, budgeting, and BIM tools. You will mentor junior staff, manage RFI/submittal processes, and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Eight years’ experience managing complex construction projects.
• Experience on sustainable and/or design-build projects preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification is required; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety on job site and enforces safety policy.
• Analyze project buyout, savings and contingencies and schedule procurement activity.
• Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and cost control budgets.
• Oversee document control of RFIs, submittals, changes, permits, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage sequencing, procurement, and scope delineation.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and provide regular feedback.
• Review and manage billing with owners, subs and vendors.
• Identify and escalate project issues and drive resolutions.
• Manage project start-up and close-out processes.
• Maintain cost reports and communicate risks to senior management.
• Control budget and negotiate pricing.
• Oversee delay logs and notify stakeholders as required.
• Engage in client management activities as required.
