Job summary

Webcor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to promote site safety and oversee day-to-day execution on Tenant Improvement projects in Los Angeles. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to complete work on time and within budget while upholding Webcor's quality standards.

You will mentor junior staff, interface with clients and design teams, manage RFI/submittal processes and contribute to safety, QA/QC, and scheduling initiatives on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically four years of construction or engineering experience with three years as a Project Engineer or equivalent.
• LEED AP and/or GA preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred). If not, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety and site cleanliness and enforces Webcor’s safety policy.
• Manages day-to-day field operations, coordinating work and materials procurement.
• Supervises subcontractors and vendors to meet schedule and budget.
• Interacts with clients, inspectors, and design teams; mentors junior staff.
• Maintains weekly breakdowns of subcontractor activities and updates schedules.
• Manages QA/QC and punch list program and ensures inspections are scheduled and closed.
