Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Valhalla, NY, and other U.S. locations is seeking an Intermediate Project Financial Advisor to partner with Project Managers and drive profitability and disciplined financial performance across a Transportation and Infrastructure project portfolio.

You will support budgeting, revenue recognition, and forecasting, provide margin analysis, and help manage working capital while ensuring compliance with contract terms and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of project finance or commercial finance experience in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/BI tools is preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-project portfolios and forecasting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the sound financial management of projects by acting as a financial partner to Project Managers; ensure contractual and financial terms are followed.
• Advise on initial project setup, including WBS development, budgeting, rate selection, and pricing tool inputs.
• Monitor project budgets/forecasts and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
• Review labor structures, rates, and subcontracts for margin and recoverability; support revenue recognition and cash flow.
