Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks an experienced electrical systems leader to oversee design, development, and integration of controls for life sciences and data center facilities. You will coordinate with engineers, vendors, and operations to ensure systems meet specs, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will lead installation, testing, commissioning, and startup activities, drive QA/QC, and deliver comprehensive turnover packages for seamless handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or 4+ years related experience.
• 10 years of engineering experience (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, civil) preferred in life sciences, pharma, or data center environments.
• 3 years of senior-level construction management or design management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and integration of electrical controls systems (SCADA, EPMS, switchgear, power distribution) for life sciences/pharma facilities.
• Provide technical input on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil designs during planning, reviews, and execution.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to meet specs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and startup activities for building systems and ensure compliance with objectives and best practices.
• Conduct schedule reviews, monitor progress, provide technical updates, risk assessments, and client recommendations.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, and facility system issues during construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage QA/QC and commissioning documentation (test reports, issue logs, punch lists, validation records).
• Develop turnover packages and support handoff to facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and stay current on emerging technologies and best practices.
