Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks an experienced electrical engineer for independent design assurance reviews of electrical deliverables on utility-scale CCGT projects in the U.S. The role involves evaluating one-line diagrams, protection schemes, grounding, and inter-system interfaces to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience on large capital projects in power generation or process industries.
• Experience reviewing electrical designs for large industrial facilities through all project phases.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power distribution, transformers, switchgear, grounding, protection and control, DC/UPS, cable/raceway, testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent design assurance reviews of electrical deliverables for utility-scale projects.
• Review diagrams, equipment specs, load lists, grounding, raceways, protection schemes, and studies.
• Provide technical oversight of major plant electrical systems and interfaces.
• Evaluate interfaces among gas turbines, OEMs, and plant auxiliary systems.
• Review system capacity, redundancy, reliability, and design margins.
