Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Project Specialist to join our team in Richmond or Virginia Beach, VA. We will also consider highly qualified candidates in our Fairfax, VA or Washington, DC offices.

You will partner with Project Managers and technical teams to manage project documents, coordinate deliverables, organize files, support project controls, and help move work forward efficiently. This role requires independence, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while staying

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related project coordination, administrative, or project support experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or related background in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Planning, Business Administration, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project correspondence, files, and key documents (PM Plans, Health & Safety Plans, Quality Plans).
• Coordinate documentation and deliverables by gathering input and preparing cohesive final materials (drawings, specs, calculations, reports).
• Support subconsultant coordination: prepare and organize agreements, COIs, closeout documentation, scope materials.
• Coordinate communications with stakeholders, permitting agencies, internal teams, and construction-phase partners.
