Job summary

STV seeks a Project Specialist to join the Richmond/Virginia Beach team, with options for Fairfax, VA or Washington, DC offices. The role supports project managers, coordinates documents, and helps move infrastructure projects across Virginia, DC, and the region.

You will organize files, prepare plans and reports, assist with project controls, and keep multiple priorities on track while collaborating with technical staff and clients.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of project coordination or administrative support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project correspondence, files, and key documents.
• Coordinate documentation by gathering input and preparing final drawings, specs, and reports.
• Support subconsultant coordination with agreements, COIs, and closeout materials.
• Coordinate communication with stakeholders, agencies, internal teams, and partners.
• Schedule meetings, log notes, and track action items.
• Assist with project controls including schedules, cost tracking, and EV.
• Support project closeout and knowledge management, archiving materials.
• Provide limited office support as needed.
