Job summary

Sorenson Communications in Utah is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead the reliable, secure delivery of our infrastructure across on‑premises, data center, and cloud environments. You will manage and develop technical teams responsible for network, systems, platform, and service operations, establishing consistent standards, processes, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• 1. Graduate degree is preferred.
• 2. ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware credentials are preferred.
• 3. 7 years of progressive enterprise infrastructure and operations experience.
• 4. 3 years leading technical teams and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead compute, storage, virtualization, data center and cloud infrastructure operations.
• 3. Drive modernization and refresh strategies.
• 4. Plan migrations, relocations and decommissioning of infrastructure.
• 5. Provide IAM security leadership across cloud and on-premises environments.
• 6. Oversee privileged access, MFA, SSO, service accounts, and emergency access processes.
• 7. Drive patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management.
• 8. Ensure vendors and security lifecycles are aligned and compliant.
• 9. Support business continuity, DR, backup, audit, and compliance needs.
• 10. Lead complex incidents and root-cause analysis.
• 11. Manage lifecycle of circuits and network services.
• 12. Communicate risks and priorities to stakeholders.
