Qualifications

• 10 years of infrastructure architecture and technology leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in private cloud platforms (VMware, Nutanix or equivalent).
• Hands-on data center infra: compute, storage (SAN/NAS), server virtualization.
• Networking knowledge: MPLS, SDN, cloud connectivity.
• Mainframe operations awareness (z/OS) architecturally.
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure platforms or cloud-hosted AI services.
• Governance of enterprise tech standards and reference architectures.
• Experience in multi-vendor government IT/MSI environments.
• Strong cross-domain leadership and executive communication skills.
• US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of accountability to DIR for performance and incident management across technology domains.
• Provide planning, optimization, service evolution, and innovation across Private Cloud, Network, Mainframe, and AI Platform.
• Govern the Infrastructure Reference Architecture with quarterly updates and CMDB integration.
• Monitor environment for nonstandard product introductions and governance decisions.
• Coordinate with Security Director on threat remediation and security posture.
• Manage infrastructure currency, keeping systems within one major release of current version.
• Provide cross-domain tech leadership and governance across infrastructure domains.
• Ensure technology decisions align with enterprise architecture, service requirements, and contractual objectives.
• Represent Private Cloud, Network, Mainframe, and AI/ML to senior government stakeholders.
