Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Automation & AIOps Lead (TX DIR) to provide technical leadership for automation, DevOps/MLOps, and AI-enabled operations in the Texas DIR program. The role focuses on IaC, AI governance, and enterprise automation across the Private Cloud initiative.

You will own the Enterprise Control Plane, manage telemetry pipelines, and drive continuous improvement in observability, automation savings, and service evolution. Austin/San Angelo are primary locales.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 8+ years in infrastructure automation/DevOps/MLOps.
8+ years of infrastructure automation and DevOps/MLOps experience.
Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD proficiency required.
Experience with AIOps platforms (Splunk ITSI, Dynatrace) and observability tools.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations (IntegrationHub, CSDM, ITOM).
Familiarity with AI/ML operations, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, OpenShift, GPU scheduling, and NIST AI RMF.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering, deployment, and operations of the Enterprise Control Plane (ECP).
Drive automation, AI-enabled operations, and zero-touch provisioning.
Oversee AIOps telemetry pipelines (Splunk ITSI, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Manage ServiceNow accelerators, REST/JSON IntegrationHub, and CSDM flows.
Report to the Technical Director and co-own Application Architecture domain.
