Job summary

Peraton is hiring for a Private Cloud Service Delivery Manager to support the Texas DIR with accountability for Private Cloud, network, and AI Platform service delivery. You will lead operational delivery across multiple data centers, ensure SLA attainment, and manage incidents, changes, and CMDB accuracy.

The role requires extensive private cloud and data center operations experience, ITIL and ServiceNow expertise, and a US citizenship with ability to obtain agency clearance.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience; may have supervisory or management experience.
• 7+ years of private cloud or enterprise data center operations experience.
• Hands-on VMware vCenter/vSphere or equivalent hypervisor.
• Experience with ITIL-based service management operations.
• Experience in government or regulated environment.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM.
• Experience in MSI/multi-vendor government IT delivery models.
• Demonstrated incident, problem, and SLA management experience.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall operational accountability for Private Cloud, network, and AI Platform service delivery.
• Ensure SLA attainment across all applicable service tiers.
• Manage compute and VM lifecycle across Austin Data Center (ADC) and San Angelo Data Center (SDC).
• Provide AI Platform service delivery when sovereign AI Platform is implemented.
• Lead day-to-day incident and problem management (Tier 2/3).
• Manage ServiceNow service catalog fulfillment.
• Maintain CMDB accuracy and configuration management.
• Coordinate service delivery across Private Cloud, network, compute, storage, cloud, and AI/GPU environments.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure achievement of contractual service levels.
• Coordinate with other service delivery teams and vendors within MSI/multi-vendor model.
• Support continuous improvement of service management processes.
