Job summary

AF Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to manage secure, highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. Responsibilities include installation, upgrade, testing, and continuous improvement of the infrastructure, plus incident response, on-call support, disaster recovery planning, and coordination with vendors.

The role requires leadership, planning for growth, and collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
• Certification or progress toward certification preferred and encouraged.
• Continuous learning as defined by Company’s learning philosophy is required.
• 5 years' experience within an IT environment with multi-site, multi-platform exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical project leader or provide leadership for lower level staff.
• Participate in groups/committees for processes, standards and best practices.
• Mentor operations staff and triage trouble reports.
• Plan replacement of obsolete resources within computer infrastructure.
• Coordinate installation of new equipment and ensure maintenance of existing assets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system testing and analysis.
