Job summary

AF Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to manage secure, highly available computing platforms, servers and networks. The role installs, maintains, upgrades and improves the operating environment while ensuring reliability, performance and support for the infrastructure.

Responsibilities include monitoring, incident response, on-call support, disaster recovery planning, vendor coordination and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Five years IT experience in a multi-site environment and supporting staff.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor operations staff and lead incident response.
• Plan replacement of obsolete resources and upgrade strategies.
• Coordinate installation of new equipment and migrations.
• Ensure security, data retention, and compliance across systems.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure.
