Job summary

AF Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to oversee secure, highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. You will install, upgrade, and improve the infrastructure while ensuring reliability, performance, and support across environments.

The role includes monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with development and operations teams. A Bachelor's in CS/IT is required, with 5 years in IT and strong middleware/security experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
• 5 years of IT experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in security, multi-cloud environments, and middleware applications preferred.
• Insurance industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• May lead technical projects or provide work leadership for staff.
• Plan for replacement of obsolete resources and recommend new tech.
• Maintain security, backups, disaster recovery, and on-call support.
• Collaborate with internal clients to ensure successful implementation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
