Job summary

Endurance IT Services in Richmond is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our services team, leading design, deployment, and support of modern infrastructure for diverse clients. You will work across on-premises and cloud environments and provide advanced technical support.

The role is direct hire with hybrid/remote work and up to 50% travel to client sites; strong AD/M365/Azure expertise and certifications are valued; 7+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT infrastructure design/implementation.
• Managed services/consulting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AD, M365, Azure, virtualization, networking, security.
• Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Excellent troubleshooting and client-facing skills.
• Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Aruba, SonicWall) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and migration projects involving servers, networking, cloud platforms, and end-user technologies.
• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, backup/recovery, and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure, network, and systems issues.
• Create technical documentation, diagrams, and project deliverables while adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer in Richmond to join our services team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern infrastructure solutions for a diverse client base. This role serves as the lead engineer on infrastructure projects, working across on-premises and cloud environments while providing advanced technical support and consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and migration projects involving servers, networking, cloud platforms, and end-user technologies.
