Job summary

Endurance IT Services is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join a client in North Virginia. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions that protect systems, data, and users, while collaborating across IT and project teams to embed security into designs.

The role covers incident response, threat management, and security operations with a focus on Microsoft 365, cloud security, and endpoint protection.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, and administering enterprise security solutions.
• Strong expertise in endpoint, cloud, email, network and identity security domains.
• Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
• Knowledge of security controls, standards, compliance frameworks, and audit processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, Security+, Microsoft Security, or similar credentials.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, SIEM platforms, network security, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and enterprise security operations.
• Experience working in a regulated or large-scale enterprise IT environment.
