KLA Industries in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to design and support Azure/Microsoft 365, VMware vSphere, AD/DNS/DHCP and security controls for a fast-moving development environment.

You will bridge cloud, on-prem, and automation, delivering reliable systems, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery, while reducing risk through scripting and process improvements. This onsite role emphasizes ownership across infra disciplines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on infrastructure experience across cloud, virtualization, networking and security.
• Strong scripting and automation using PowerShell.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with AD/DNS/DHCP and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own Azure and Microsoft 365 administration and VMware vSphere environments.
• Manage network infrastructure, security controls, DNS/DHCP, and AD services.
• Lead endpoint management, security and automation initiatives.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate processes and improve reliability.
• Support Dev/Test environments for software development teams.
• Oversee infrastructure monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.

This is not a traditional systems administration role.

My client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer who understands how cloud services, virtualization, networking, security, and automation work together to support a high-performance software development environment.

The strongest candidates don't simply administer systems. They understand why systems are designed a certain way, how technical decisions impact reliability and security, and how infrastructure choices support the business.
