Job summary

Htprof is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Las Vegas to architect and operate a hands-on, cloud-aware infrastructure. You will integrate Azure, VMware, AD, DNS, and network security to support a high-performance software development environment.

The ideal candidate will automate with PowerShell, manage Windows and Linux servers, and collaborate with Dev/Test teams to improve reliability, security, and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• Own Azure and M365 administration and VMware environments.

This is not a traditional systems administration role.

My client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer who understands how cloud services, virtualization, networking, security, and automation work together to support a high-performance software development environment.

The strongest candidates don't simply administer systems. They understand why systems are designed a certain way, how technical decisions impact reliability and security, and how infrastructure choices support the business.

What You'll Own

• Azure and Microsoft 365 administration

• Network infrastructure, firewalls, and security
• Endpoint management and security
• PowerShell automation and process improvement
• Dev/Test environment support for software development teams
• Infrastructure monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery
