Zaddy Solutions in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join onsite, working across Azure, VMware, networking, security, and automation to support a high-performance software development environment.

You will own and optimize cloud services, virtualization, AD, DNS/DHCP, and PowerShell automation, while ensuring reliability, security, and disaster recovery. The role emphasizes understanding design decisions and how infrastructure choices support the business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on infrastructure engineer with cloud, virtualization, networking, security, and automation to support a high-performance software development environment.
• Ability to explain why systems are designed a certain way and how decisions impact reliability and security.
• Comfort driving cross-disciplinary initiatives across cloud, on-prem, and security domains.

Responsabilités

• Own Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Manage VMware vSphere environments.
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Oversee network infrastructure, firewalls, and security.
• Manage endpoints and security across devices.
• Develop PowerShell automation and process improvements.
• Support Dev/Test environments for software development teams.
• Monitor infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery.

This is not a traditional systems administration role.

My client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer who understands how cloud services, virtualization, networking, security, and automation work together to support a high-performance software development environment.

The strongest candidates don't simply administer systems. They understand why systems are designed a certain way, how technical decisions impact reliability and security, and how infrastructure choices support the business.

We're not looking for a VMware administrator, network engineer, or cloud engineer.

We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who understands how these systems work together and can explain not only what they do, but why they do it.
