Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Las Vegas to integrate cloud, virtualization, networking, security, and automation for a high‑performance software environment.

The role emphasizes understanding design rationale, reliability, and how infrastructure choices support business outcomes, with ownership across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and AD/DNS/DHCP/GP.
• Solid networking knowledge: VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server administration.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Manage VMware vSphere environments.
• Maintain AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Manage network infrastructure, firewalls, and security.
• Handle endpoint management and security.
• Automate using PowerShell.
• Support Dev/Test environments for software teams.
• Oversee infrastructure monitoring, backups, and DR.

This is not a traditional systems administration role.

My client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer who understands how cloud services, virtualization, networking, security, and automation work together to support a high-performance software development environment.

The strongest candidates don't simply administer systems. They understand why systems are designed a certain way, how technical decisions impact reliability and security, and how infrastructure choices support the business.

What You'll Own

• PowerShell automation and process improvement
• Dev/Test environment support for software development teams
