Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Commissioning Program Manager to design and scale the operating systems behind infrastructure commissioning programs.

You will own development and continuous improvement of standards, processes, tools dashboards, and KPIs across the portfolio, translating field execution needs into practical playbooks, workflows, templates, metrics, and reporting mechanisms from construction readiness through testing and turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience turning fragmented workflows into repeatable systems.
• Ability to translate field needs into playbooks, templates and metrics.
• Understanding how complex construction projects operate.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain commissioning program standards, playbooks, process maps, templates, checklists, stage gates, and acceptance criteria across infrastructure projects.
• Establish consistent workflows for commissioning planning, construction readiness, QA/QC, issue management, document control, testing evidence.
