Coinbase is hiring an Infrastructure Lead for the Exchange team on the Institutional side. You will own the network infrastructure, deployment, and tooling behind a unified trading platform across cloud and on-prem venues.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in network, infra, or SRE with production ownership in latency-sensitive contexts.
• Hands-on with multicast, BGP/OSPF/VRFs, high-availability data-center switching.
• Experience leading live incident response for trading systems and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize ultra-low-latency networks and data-center infra across cloud and on-prem.
• Design routing, traffic segmentation, and market-data architectures with HA platforms.
• Deploy firewalls/VPNs and maintain secure connectivity across vendors.
• Drive observability and automation using Python/Ansible; lead 24/7 on-call readiness.
• Mentor teams and coordinate across SRE/Infra, Product, and trading groups.
