Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Infrastructure Data Analytics Engineer to acquire, transform, and analyze data from infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise systems, delivering insights to support technology strategy and risk management.

The role emphasizes SQL, Python, Alteryx, API integration, and SDLC practices including source control, testing, and CI/CD. You will design ETL pipelines, build analytics dashboards, and partner with teams to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
5–7 years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
Experience with Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or enterprise data platforms.
Knowledge of Infrastructure Observability and Monitoring platforms (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD tools and release automation.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data ingestion from multiple sources (infrastructure, cloud, enterprise systems).
Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
Create Python-based data extraction, transformation, and automation workflows.
Build and maintain Alteryx workflows for data preparation and analytics automation.
Analyze infrastructure/operational data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
Develop API integrations and reusable libraries to accelerate analytics delivery.
Follow SDLC with version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance throughout analytics assets.
